Although not playing in the championships Hikaru Nakamura lives in Saint Louis and was interviewed at length by Jennifer Shahade and Maurice Ashley where he talked about the play in Round 2, his plans for the future and announced that he would be playing Ruslan Ponomariov in Saint Louis 16th-25th May 2011. 6 Classical games and 4 Rapid.
