The Saint Louis Summer Chess Classic took place 15th-23rd May 2018. Two GM Groups. A Group: Durarbayli, Akobian, Sevian, Bok, Zherebukh, Indjic, Xiong, Prohaszka, Fridman and Jumabayev. Vasif Durarbayli won the a-group after beating Varuzhan Akobian 2-0 in a rapid tie-break after both finishing on 6/9. Kamil Dragun won the b-group.
