Human chess during an event co-hosted by the World Chess Hall of Fame and the Chess Club and Scholastic Center of Saint Louis to launch the first-ever Chess Merit Badge for the Boy Scouts of America. The opening of the World Chess Hall of Fame to the public in Saint Louis had a number of events. The main one was a Kings vs Queens event, starring Hikaru Nakamura sadly for them Judit Polgar couldn't make it after reaching Round 5 of the World Cup. This event was a double round robin Scheveningen tournament with half chess960 rapid games and half rapid games. One of each per day with live video commentary. Other events included the launch Chess Merit Badge for the Boy Scouts of America. Note that many chess programs can't replay Chess960 games. This Chess960 and Rapid event saw the final score finish as Kings 31.5 - Queens 18.5. Hikaru Nakamura was the best individual scorer with 9.5/10.

The Kings vs Queens in Saint Louis concludes. This Chess960 and Rapid event saw the final score finish as Kings 31.5 - Queens 18.5. The Queens team do win final rapid 3-2. Hikaru Nakamura was the top score conceding just the one draw in scoring 9.5/10.
