The FIDE Women's Grand Prix took place in Jermuk, Armenia 17th-28th July 2012. Women's World Chess Champion Hou Yifan and her last challenger Koneru Humpy starred Hou Yifan won in spite of her final round loss to Kateryna Lahno. Chasers Ju Wenjun and Ruan Lufei also lost. So Hou Yifan finished on 7/11, Nadezhda Kosintseva, Kateryna Lahno and Humpy Koneru finished on 6.5/11. The official site has a huge amount of nice coverage and photos.
