The FIDE World Fischer Random Chess Championship took place in Reykjavik 25th to 30th October 2022. The event starts tomorrow with two pools of four. Pool A Wesley So, Ian Nepomniachtchi, Nodirbek Abdusattorov and Hjorvar Steinn Gratarsson. Pool B Magnus Carlsen, Hikaru Nakamura, Vladimir Fedoseev and Matthias Bluebaum. Hikaru Nakamura beat Ian Nepomniachtchi in a final Armageddon tie-break in the final to take the title, Magnus Carlsen finished in 3rd place beating Nodirbek Abdusattorov.
