The England vs. Sweden Challenge Match is a classical match between David Howell and Nils Grandelius which takes place in London Wed 2nd Mar to Sat 12th Mar 2022. The match is over two classical time controls 120 minutes + 30 minutes plus 30 seconds a move and then the second half will have 90 minutes instead of 120 minutes to start. The event is being staged as part of the 30th anniversary celebrations of the founding of the London Chess Centre and the relaunching of CHESS Magazine. The match will be held at the Residence of Sweden's Ambassador to the United Kingdom Mikaela Kumlin Granit.
