Dutch Championships 2010

The Dutch Championships took place in Eindhoven 11th-20th June 2010. Top seed Jan Smeets secured victory with a three move draw in the final round. He finished half a point clear of rising star Anish Giri whose chances to win were finally finished by a loss to Loek van Wely in Round 8. Sipke Ernst held Van Wely to secure 3rd place.
