The Chess.com Open Playoffs takes place Thu 23rd to Sun 26th Apr 2026. This offers a place in the Esports World Cup. Players: Magnus Carlsen, Jan-Krzysztof Duda, Maxime Vachier-Lagrave, Denis Lazavik, Sam Sevian, Javokhir Sindarov, Arjun Erigaisi, Vincent Keymer, Qualified through Play-Ins, Ian Nepomniachtchi, Nodirbek Abdusattorov, Pranesh M, Yu Yangyi, Sina Movahed, Daniil Dubov, Nihal Sarin and Shant Sargsyan. The event is a Double Elimination KO. I've decided to adopt the Chess.com method of putting the winners and losers section in the same file. There's no ideal solution but there's a certain utility in having inherently connected games together. Rounds 50 and above are the losers part of the draw.
