The Australian Masters took place in Melbourne 14th to 22nd December 2013. In the GM event Vasily Papin and Normunds Miezis finished on 6/9. In the IM event Karl Zelesco made an IM norm with a final round win and finished on 7/9 alongside Christopher Wallis.
