Alexander Grischuk defeated former World Champion Viswanathan Anand in the final game to finish of Lonodon Chess Classic Round 6. With that win Grischuk is tied for first with three other players.
Earlier Michael Adams escaped a much worse, if not lost position against Veselin Topalov for whom nothing has gone right.
Vachier-Lagrave vs Fabiano Caruana, Anish Giri vs Magnus Carlsen and Hikaru Nakamura against Levon Aronian were all drawn too.
Round 6 Standings: Nakamura, Grischuk, Vachier-Lagrave, Giri 3.5pts, Aronian, Carlsen, Caruana, Adams 3pts, Anand 2.5pts, Topalov 1.5pts.
