World Chess Champion Magnus Carlsen returns to action for the first time since winning the Tata Steel tournament in January. Players: Giri, Karjakin, Grischuk, Radjabov, Anand, Navara, Carlsen, Mamedyarov, Ding and Topalov.. Magnus Carlsen won with 7/9 5 wins and 4 draws for a 2988 performance, his best since a similar performance in 2015 in the same event. (Tarjei J.
