Ivanchuk wins playoff for 6th Kings title

Vassily Ivanchuk and Veselin Topalov played off for the 6th Kings tournament after finishing with identical records in every way (just one win apiece against Nisipeanu) in the main tournament. Both final round 6 games were drawn otherwise Caruana would have joined them in a 2x15m+3spm and maybe blitz playoff (5m+3spm) and Armageddon playoff. Topalov lost on time a pawn up in the first rapid game with white. Ivanchuk only needed a draw with white in game 2 to win the title which he achieved reasonably easily.
