2nd Nanjing Pearl Spring Tournament

The 2nd Nanjing Pearl Spring Chess Tournament took place 27th Sept - 9th October 2009 in Nanjing, China. Magnus Carlsen dominated the event winning 6 and drawing 4 for an amazing 8/10 score. He was 2.5 points clear of world number 1 Veselin Topalov. There were only three decisive games not involving Carlsen and Topalov won two of them.
The event was a 6-player in a double round robin. The total prize fund was 250,000 Euros.
