Remco Heite Chess Tournament 2012

The Remco Heite Chess Tournament took place over the weekend 16th to 18th November 2012. This was a 6 player invitational running Friday to Sunday.. Loek van Wely, Daniel Fridman and Sipke Ernst (who beat van Wely in the last round) tied for first on 3/5. Luke McShane would have seen this as an ideal warm up for the London Classic as he doesn't play that much but he had a torrid time finishing last losing three games. This whole event turned out well for the organisers with hard fought chess throughout. There was a 45m per player open won by Erwin L' Ami who won with 7.5/9. Games and results below.
