The Chinese Team Championship took place 9th April to 7th December 2019 over 22 rounds. China Mobil Shanghai Chess Club (Ni Hua, Xu Yi, Ju Wenjun along with guests such as Vidit and Grischuk) just beat the Chongqing Sports lottery chess team (Zhou Weiqi, Zeng Chongsheng, Lei Tingjie and Andreikin who played most of the rounds in this small squad of just 7 players) to the title by a point.
