My thanks to Franz Jittenmeier, Thomas Henrich, Stefan Pfannkuch, Martin Crichton, Thomas Heine Bech, Miklos Orso, Eduard Piacun, James Alvis, Carlos Salazar Cárdenas, Leontxo García, José Mariano Acosta, Russell Miller, Laszlo Nagy, Benjamín Góngora Montes, Zsuzsa Veroci, Richard Cantwell, Varlam Vepkhvishvili, Gary Suffield, Michael Atkins, Mihajlo Stojanovic, Haroon Or Rashid I.A. and everyone else who helped with the issue.
Another typically hectic issue at the end of an Easter weekend. The main event is the European Individuals which continue with five players on 5/6. We also found out where Ivanchuk and Mamedyarov got to who were originally slated to play, they were in Spain playing in an incredibly strong rapid event. Gata Kamsky won the Foxwoods Open, I'll round the games from that event up next week.
Hope you enjoy this issue.
Mark

The Championship of Kazakhstan took place in Astana 20th-30th March 2007.
One small puzzle and I've found a similar sort of thing has in the FIDE list before with two different players at the same time having the same FIDE ID number. 13701665 Maksutova, M. KAZ 2014 8 . . from the July 2000 ELO list has the same FIDE ID as 13701665 Moiseenko, Ilya KAZ 2308 11 in the April list but Ilya Moiseenko isn't in the January list but surely can't have got a 2300 rating in one go. I'm using the April ELO rating which is in fact given in the table on the site below.
