The London Chess Classic pairings were drawn by the Chief Arbiter Albert Vasse and Tournament Director Malcolm Pein on the morning of Tuesday 29th November 2011. The event starts at 2pm GMT on Saturday 3rd December when the games will be Kramnik-Nakamura, Aronian-McShane, Carlsen-Howell, Adams-Anand and Nigel Short assists in the commentary room. Almost all the tournaments are now full or almost full up. There is a full calendar of special events including on the rest day Wednesday 7th December including John Nunn on astronomy, Nick Murphy's ChessBase workshop and a showing of Bobby Fischer against the World.
