The 3rd Round of the 5th Final Masters in Sao Paulo saw three draws but only after some fairly bitter fighting. Aronian-Vallejo good prep from Vallejo in a sharp Ragozin gave him slightly the better side of a draw. Caruana won a pawn vs Anand but with pawns on 1 side he couldn't break through. Carlsen set Karjakin problems in a Queen's Indian but the Russian was equal to the task and a piece sacrifice secured the draw. I'd forgotten there are 3 points for a win and 1 for a draw in the tournament. Caruana leads on 7/9 Rest day on Thursday. Friday 19:00 UK time. Caruana-Vallejo, Carlsen-Aronian, Karjakin-Anand.
