Vassily Ivanchuk, Leinier Dominguez Perez and Viktor Laznicka share the lead on 2.5 points after 4 rounds of the Capablanca Memorial in Havana. Ivanchuk put Ian Nepomniachtchi under severe pressure in a complex Sicilian Najdorf but just couldn't break through. Struggling Vladimir Potkin lost to Viktor Laznicka, also in a Najdorf, he got a difficult position out of the opening and eventually he blundered badly. Leinier Dominguez Perez was held easily by Yuniesky Quesada Peresz in a Berlin Defence. Round 5 Tues 8th May 2012 3pm BST: Nepomniachtchi-Dominguez, Laznicka-Ivanchuk, Quesada-Potkin.
